quick post + birthdays + meme

Haaai! Okay, in two hours I'll be off until the 21st for my three days of opera frenzy. I'm going to bring my netbook but since I don't have an idea whether I'll manage to steal a connection or not, better safe than sorry. Sooo, happy (advanced) birthday to halfdutch for the 19th and timey_wimey_kid and flying_colours for the 20th! <3333

For halfdutch, I hope you have an amazing day and that next year brings you every possible awesome thing, a lot of live concerts and maybe Josh Holloway getting the lead in some nice show on hbo? Or maybe guest starring on True Blood?

for timey_wimey_kid, I hope you have an amazing day as well (and ha, you're sharing it with Misha? That's nice XD), that next year is great and that we get a nice Stonehenge Apocalypse sequel with more robot heads. (And possibly decent things in SPN S6, but that went unsaid, y/y?)

for flying_colours, I hope you have a great day too and best wishes for going to America! And if you meet Slash again I'll be even more envious. ;)

And if any of you wants to prompt me I'll see what I can do. Eventually I tackle everything. Eventually being the key word, but let's not dwell on that. *wink* Happy birthday again in advance to all of you!

That said, I'll go finish packing. If I disappear until the 21st, just assume that I'm internet-less, and in case see you all then. <3 if not, well, even better.

But, before I go, meme from elliotsmelliot!

Comment with "ACTION!" and I will give you ten actors and ten actresses. Then post in your livejournal with your favorite films of theirs.

Actresses:
1. Helena Boham Carter -> Howard's End. [My love for Merchant/Ivory trumped Sweneey Todd and Corpse Bride.]
2. Rosario Dawson -> 25th Hour
3. Lauren Bacall -> Dark Passage [which no one I ever met saw, but I thought it was brilliant.]
4. Gwyneth Paltrow -> probably Seven.
5. Amy Adams -> er, the only movie of hers I've seen is Enchanted. Until I see Doubt, I guess that's it?
6. Natalie Portman -> in theory, Mars Attacks!. But since she was a lot more relevant in The Professional, I'll go for that one.
7. Winona Ryder -> Edward Scissorhands. <3
8. Emma Thompson -> Howard's End, again. Sorry, I just really love that movie.
9. Nicole Kidman -> I'll be weird and say The Interpreter. She had lovely hair in that movie, and Sean Penn was there, too, and in general I'm not that much of a fan and I haven't seen a couple of ones which would deserve a mention more.
10. Sophia Loren -> A Special Day, even if the English title for it is made of fail. Ew.

Actors:
1. Clint Eastwood -> ONE MOVIE IS ASKING TOO MUCH. Therefore:
- Leone/westerns: For A Few Dollars More
- Seventies: The Beguiled
- Overall: A Perfect World. ♥

Sorry, I can't choose one. Also, Bridges of Madison County and Unforgiven deserve mentions.
2. Harrison Ford -> Blade Runner. Easiest one. XD
3. Heath Ledger -> for his performance, Brokeback Mountain. As a movie, I'm Not There.
4. Mark Walhberg -> The Departed.
5. Djimon Honousou -> Amistad
6. Oliver Platt -> Benny & Joon. Or Kinsey.
7. Robert Downey Jr. -> Wonder Boys
8. James Franco -> Milk
9. Stanley Tucci -> The Terminal (I have a tendency for liking movies no one likes, I think).
10. Robert De Niro -> auuugh THIS IS HARD. Deer Hunter. Or Godfather part II. But.. nah, Deer Hunter. I think. ;)

Any answers to this shall come either in six hours or five days. ;) Byeee! *waves*
