Lost 5x13 Some Like It Hoth
Okay, I'm seriously, seriously disappointed in the title not maintaining what it promises on the Some Like It part. Seriously, where was the crossdressing? Where was the alcohol? Where was the ukulele? Where was someone dancing tango? Why didn't someone say nobody's perfect? Faaaaail. They shouldn't tease me like this.
Team OMG MILES GOT A CENTRIC!
1. Mm, I guess nothing we didn't know/we couldn't imagine but I had wanted to see more of Miles for a while and it did work in that regard.
2. Punk!Miles was actually awesome. Ken Leung is really good, btw. Even if I prefer him clean-shaven.
3. So, the guy who kidnapped Miles, who also was Clint's son in Gran Torino, isn't on Widmore's team. Which means Ilana is not on Widmore's team. Which means they're on Ben's...? *headdesk* Fine, I give up.
4. Everyone and their walls had guessed about Candle being his dad I guess.
4b. LOL, of course Candle likes country. He listens to Willie Nelson. *rolls eyes*
5. Also, Miles is named after Miles Davis? That's actually great. But... mm, wasn't that a deal about someone not being able to be in the past if they were already there? I mean, since Miles already was born shouldn't he have been unable to be in the same time...? Ah well, I give up on that too.
6. The backstory was very interesting though. I'm glad we had it even if this felt a bit filler-y.
6b. Also, MILES HAS DADDY ISSUES TOO!!!!

Team Hurley, you're not just the comic relief
7. The Star Wars thing was pretty much hilarious even if as Miles said it was kind of stupid because really, how he was going to send George Lucas the script? At least it fulfilled the purpose of naming the episode like that.
8. Also, didn't all the Star-Wars-like theories say that Jack was Luke and Christian was Darth Vader..? People, we had it all wrong. Now I just need to get who the hell is Leia (we all know who is Han Solo, right?).
9. Also, I don't care if Hurley sees ghosts if I don't see them too. *hint*
10. And really, I think they're overdoing it with the comic relief thing. I get that they don't have a comic relief anymore except for Hurley and so he gets all the comic stuff but seriously, it's a better character than that. Now that they gave Miles an episode where he wasn't will they just realize it?

11. Why didn't I have a janitor like him when I was at school? Really, why? Because I'd have gone to school much more willingly.
12. Also, was that Egyptian stuff on the blackboard? Please, please, do not bring Egypt into this. *sigh*
13. I loved Jack. Why, what news. But I liked that he was standing up for Kate (!!!) for the actual right reasons, I like him fussing with cleaning material, I loved him going to Sawyer to inform him (damnnn, I need to fic sometime) and being all laid back with Juliet and basically chilling out. I ♥ Jack so.

14. Argh, I see bad things in the future. Sawyer, why did you punch the guy? So not good.
15. Please, someone cut Horace's hair and make him lose some weight. I always expect him to say he's a useless piece of meat and that he wants to go wrestling.
16. I really can't get why Roger cares so much. It completely doesn't relate with the 3x20 Roger. What's with daddy of the year thing?
17. Also, Kate, good intentions but they don't know you lost your 'son' too.
18. DANIEL!!!! ♥ HE'S BACK!! ♥ FINALLY. I can't wait for the next episode.

22. Anyway, it wasn't the best episode ever but I liked it if only for the Miles backstory. And Candle liking country. How do you dig Steve Earle?
