So this was definitely too long to fit into two comments. So posting it here instead.

Title: Of Ruined Weekends
Pairing: Boone/Kevin
Rating: NC17
Summary: Boone has to bail Shannon out of prison while she's in Miami. Guess who's the officer in charge?
Disclaimer: Definitely not mine.
A/N: the prompt was prison. And I think I just went with it to see if I could. I can't word count it now but it should be around 1400 words or so. Apologies in advance for probably screwing stuff out re police procedures and probably messing with the timeline like woah.

This time, oh, this time he is really angry. He never gets angry and he usually puts up with anything concerning Shannon and he has surely made a virtue out of patience, but for fuck's sake, this was too much.

Because the one time she goes to Florida to spend two weeks at sea with her best friend forever Suzie he-doesn't-remember-the-surname (and seriously, he doesn't even want to; he doesn't like her much and anyway he won't speak to anyone giggling and saying how cool when she's told he goes to marches against the death penalty) and he has his plans for the week-end, she has to screw them for him even if she's on the other side of the country.

She and Suzie managed to get themselves arrested for drunk driving, thankfully without anyone dying and with only a couple of trashcans and the rented car being damaged. And of course, since both his mother and Adam are on vacation, too, some tropical island he didn't bother learning the name of, and since not only he's the next of kin but he also turned nineteen a month ago, of course he took the first flight to Miami on a Friday night.

As soon as he was in Miami he had checked in at the first hotel he could book a room, he's pretty sure that Shannon just wants to be bailed out and go back to her vacation. In the end, he'll be the only one screwed, as usual, but it's not like he isn't doing this anyway. Then he goes to the rental agency and pays for the car damages with the money he earned during his last summer job (he'll see that Adam repays him, of course), then goes to the police station taking everything very calmly. It's not like he's in a hurry; she ruined his weekend, she can suffer a bit.

When he arrives there, he asks to see her before anything else; Shannon and Suzie (a brunette some inches shorter than Shannon who manages to always look annoyed even better than Shannon does) are sitting on the only bed in the small cell they're in and Shannon jumps from her place as soon as she sees him behind the bars.

"Oh, you're..."

"Yes, I am. I mean, did you really need to end up here? Oh, fine. Don't say anything. I'm bailing you out and then do whatever the hell you like, just don't drive around anymore. And hi, Suzie."

Shannon nods and sits, not answering for once; Suzie just ignores him. Boone is tempted to pay only for Shannon's bail; then shrugs and figures it'd be only more trouble.

He asks for the officer in charge and he's brought to a room; the label on the outside says Kevin Callis. He memorizes the name before knocking politely; when someone answers come in, Boone does.

The officer has a friendly face and stands up to shake his hand when Boone arrives in front of his desk. Boone quickly checks him out; tall, short brown hair, dark eyes, quite nice traits, high forehead, can't be older than thirty. Nice. He wishes he met him in some bar.

"What can I do for you?"

"It's my sister. Shannon Rutherford. Drunk driving, she's in there with a friend of hers. I'd like to bail them out."

"Sure. Rutherford, Rutherford, yes, here she is. With Logan, Suzanne? There were damages to..."

"I already took care of that. I mean, I paid at the car rental's agency. That's the receipt."

Officer Callis scans it, then nods.

"Well, then there's only to pay for the damage to the trashcans. Your sister and her friend kind of crushed them."

Boone wants to hide somewhere. That's called shame. He really wishes he met this guy at some bar and not under these circumstances.

"Oh. Okay. Sure. How do I..."

"Well, we still need to certify the damage but..."

"Do you think you could send a check home?"

"Definitely. So, if this is settled, on to the bail.. it'll be a thousand dollars for the both of them. Check?"

"Yeah. Check."

Thankfully he does have his own account since he started working part-time jobs. He signs the check, leaving the recipient blank.

"Will you take care of that?"

"Sure. You know, Mr. Carlyle..."

"Oh, Boone. Don't mind the formalities."

"Sure, if that's what you prefer. Usually people who bail others out, especially if relatives... are kind of more problematic."

"What do you mean, officer..."

"Kevin. Fair, right? I meant that they complain about the fares and we arrest people without reason, but they're usually not as... reasonable."

Boone knows he's slightly blushing as he answers.

"Well, they... they did a stupid thing. And it's not like I can justify that. It was just... dumb. And it ruined my weekend."

He knows it has to sound stupid; but well, he couldn't help it.

"Well, if you flew from California, I can figure they did. Sorry for that."

"It's hardly your fault, right?"

"Yeah, maybe. Well, you're not the only one whose plans for the weekend were ruined. I should be in Costa Rica now."

"That's a hell of a change. Might I...?"

Because now he's curious. Indeed.

"Well, no secret around here. It was a vacation for me and my wife but... she... left. Like that."

And what he's supposed to say now?

"Woah. Sorry to hear it. It must have been horrible."

"You can say that."

The officer, Kevin, puts Boone's check in the first drawer of the desk and stands up, taking some keys from the table.

"Guess we can go set the birds free."

Boone almost nods but then Kevin puts a foot the wrong way and next thing he knows he ends down on top of Boone, who falls sitting against the door, which was thankfully closed. And he'd be quick to stand up, if he didn't realize that the guy might have been married to a woman but right now his erection is pressed against Boone's leg and he is hard. Kevin attempts to pull out, suddenly looking ashamed, but Boone stands up with him, locks the door with one hand and draws him closely with the other.

"You know what, officer? I think they can stay closed there a little while longer."

His voice is low, a tone which he hopes conveys what he wants to convey; and then Kevin's lips are on his own and Boone's slammed against the desk. The papers covering it fall on the ground and while it kind of hurts, Kevin is kissing him so thoroughly and deliciously that Boone can't bring himself to care.

"This is crazy," Kevin mutters, "You probably are barely legal and..."

"I've been legal for a while and sincerely? I am... definitely... on... board," he breathes against Kevin's mouth punctuating every word with a small kiss.

And then he manages to reverse the positions; two minutes later, Kevin is standing against the wall, Boone is on his knees, his hand gripping the shirt of Kevin's uniform as the officer thrusts his hips forward and doesn't have much of a problem with fucking his mouth. Not that Boone minds. He meets every thrust with a flick of his tongue and it's not long before Kevin is coming into his mouth, his body shivering; Boone drinks it all and suddenly after he stands up he's the one thrown against the wall, his mouth being kissed somewhat frantically, a hand pushing his jeans down and taking his cock between long fingers, stroking him until he comes shortly after. This isn't the day where he tries to make it last.

Kevin hands him a couple of tissues and Boone takes them; as they dress up, Boone notices the officer shaking his head.

"What?"

"Nothing. I just... this isn't really... my... thing, you know? If she wasn't gone, maybe I wouldn't..."

"Hey. It was good. Don't be hard on yourself. We just decided the weekend could have at least something good, right?"

"I'm not supposed to like men."

"There's always the exception to the rule, right?"

Boone winks at him and Kevin's lips stretch in a small smile; he shakes his head and unlocks the door after. Boone catches a look of himself in a mirror; thankfully he doesn't exactly look like he just had sex. When Kevin opens the cell, he doesn't say a thing; they shake hands and then Kevin retreats to his office. Shannon looks pretty confused.

"Aren't you... angry?"

"At you? Oh, I was, and if you try to do something like this again you can bail yourself out for all I care. But now... not exactly."

"Why's that?" she asks, raising an eyebrow.

"None of your business. Come one, there's a taxi waiting outside."

Shannon follows him and her friend too, thankfully not saying a thing in the process. Boone can't hide his slightly smug grin; definitely not a wasted weekend, indeed.

End.
