OMG!! OMG!!!

So I'm in my office at school, and killing time before my students' exam, and see this gem. I know I shouldn't read fic here, but I couldn't help myself. I should have closed the door because a) the squee that came from me when I discovered the POV and the mission and b) because an economics student wandered into my office looking for a room in this building, and I had shut everything down so she could look something up on my computer. But it was worth it. Oh, Janie, it was worth it!

There were so many wonderful moments in here. For the entire concept is brilliant. Forgot lunch, I will fly you to Canada if we ever get to see this!

I love how you opened with the shirt’s thoughts on being on a chest versus in a closet, and all her journeys. I also like how Desmond kept it safe, though frankly Penny not understanding means she needs to get her eyes checked ASAP.

Hey, shirts never had any sense of time passing anyway

Indeed! I liked all her asides like this.

And then appearance of the ring leaders from Craphole Heaven, and the shirt’s impression of all of them. Poor tragic Charlie, and tailor Tom, and the multiple Jack crushes. Plus, I saw how the shirt tried to flirt with Boone!

she’d have cried then, too; she also never managed to place her owner’s pretty discontinuous behavior after it, but well, Desmond is her owner and she’s a shirt; fine, she thinks and remembers and has feelings like any other shirt would have for such a perfect owner, but she never read Freud).

See even the shirt knew something was wrong with Desmond. The shirt should replace Jacob because clearing it is all knowing, even if it never read Freud! The Freud bit really got me!

And then there are the mysterious girls who could not be trusted with such a duty! Clearly.

and Boone hands him a pen;

Of course!

Jack is the guy she was rubbing against while he did CPR on Desmond, she has to be fair; they both have excellent taste.

Oh, the places that shirt has been!

And the whole crux of the mission is revealed and that is brilliant. It brings a whole new sense of all of you must go back. Plus Sayid in the bedroom with Desmond raises all sorts of eyebrows. Thank you so much for this wonderful present! I know I’ll be reading it again shortly.

Darlton, make this happen! I want to see Canada! ;) ;) Aw, seriously, thank you SO much, I'm beyond thrilled that you liked it! Ouch for the location and the student, but glad it was worth it! As soon as I had the idea I just had to run with it, it was too good to pass.

Maybe Penny was mistaken because she only saw her in the night and not in her best condition? But surely she should check her eyes just to be sure! I couldn't resist the shirt's asides, writing from her POV has to be one of the funniest things I'll ever do. Glad that you liked the Freud thing!

The shirt should replace Jacob because clearing it is all knowing,

Indeed! I'm sure it'd be a way more benevolent deity. And isn't that shirt a smart one, flirting with the pretty when she has the chance? They were totally the unlikely trio of doom but they worked together too well for such a task. And I couldn't resist the multiple Jack crushes. That man must have a line outside his door!

The mysterious girls are probably the dead women in CH, but I figured that they'd just fangirl and not get the job done. And hee, of course he brings the pens!

Oh, the places that shirt has been!

Indeed! What I'd give to be in half of them...

Glad that the ending worked! And why, of course it's Sayid. *whistles innocently and looks in the opposite side* ;) Thanks so much again, I'm really so happy you liked it! ♥ ♥
