quick update...sorry about all the long run-on sentences

i wanted to avoid dday and dani's boyfriend is coming for the weekend so i was going to drive home thursday night and interview in the city for a summer internship. long story short, the cough i thought was an asthmatic reaction to all the running i was forcing myself to do was BRONCHITIS and by wednesday afternoon i felt like ASS and by 8pm wednesday i passed out on my bed trying to read mrs. dalloway. i woke up at 3am, and between 3am and 9am was in and out of sleep and studying. at 9 when UHS opened i made an appointment, emailed my lit professor about possibly not being able to take the midterm, and went back to bed. my appointment ran into my midterm so i definitely couldn't take it. i later found out that he ended up making the exam optional (answer one questions with short essays or one question with a long essay or don't take this exam at all with no repercussions on your grade) but i really needed that grade so i'm going to see if he will let me make it up next week.

anyway if i am not well enough to take a midterm i am certainly not well enough to spend 14 hours in a car a few days before my finals so i thought about getting a hotel room for the weekend (but GUESS WHAT I'M NOT 21) or flying home (but there was no flight cheaper than $600) and various other option but FINALLY figured out that i could get a ride to and from albany with alina and take a train the other two ways and then my dad offered to just pick me up from and drive me back to albany.

I AM GOING HOOOME!!!
