So news from LJ says " visitors who are not logged in to LiveJournal will now be seeing ads on Basic accounts and communities; the experience of logged-in users will not change."
This is a basic account, so if you aren't logged on to LJ there will be ads. SIGH. This isn't my doing, it's livejournal. I'm contemplating switching to a paid account, but I don't know if I want to do that just to get rid of the ads.
