Well, after a week of alternating ok days & horrible days, I finally went to the doctor. When I called up the place I "usually" go, they were rather rude and extraordinarily unhelpful. However, because work decided to stick us in an HMO, I have to go to one of their places, rather than the nearest helpful medical facility. Imagine my delight ¬_¬

I finally found one that had an opening yesterday, and thankfully the doctor there was quite nice to me. She agreed that it was probably some infection. Maybe not sinusitis, but something. Especially since it's hung on for a week. She also seemed pleased that I'd attempted a Neti Pot nasal irrigation (which is a trippy feeling let me tell you...it's right up there with ear candles). Yeah, my mom's into alternative remedies. Anyway, they gave me drugs and sent me home. Thankfully I only have to take these things for three days, because they're freakin horse pills! Anyway, this means I should be back to normal in time for the work week. Yay ¬_¬

Thing is, I have a god-awful amount of stuff to do this weekend. I'm the queen of the To-Do list, and have my third level black belt in list-making-fu. Furthermore, my home looks like a tornado rampaged through the place. Mom says my resurfacing desire to clean is a good sign that I'm recovering, but honestly I just want things to go back to their normal state of general picked up-ness. Also, since I wasn't doing so well last weekend, I have three weeks worth of laundry, rather than just two. Which means I'll need to get up to the folks extra early on Sunday, yay for me. I'll have to start going through the boxes from the attic, just like Mom wants to. Considering their attic is huge and my apartment is tiny, I feel this project is unwarranted and is one of mom's newly-empty-nest projects. Joy for us her children ¬_¬

At least the attic is no longer the sweat-box it is during the summer months, so I'm not likely to fry alive. Guess that's my silver lining. But, I have my own projects I'd rather be working on, rather than hers. So anyway here's to getting better and getting things crossed off the list!
