So tonight's episode of Outlander was "The Wedding". I'll admit something right off, I was a bit disappointed, but only because this section in the book is so rich with detailed description. I'm still getting used to the adapting of it all into visuals.
It was beautifully photographed, and visuals told much of the story sans narrative. The underlining emotion brought me close to tears more than once. And the music as always was so hauntingly beautiful. Lit merely by candlelight, the ceremony warmed my heart and sent it flying with hope to the sky.
Jamie was just as he should be, tender and loving, with much reverence for the woman who had become his bride. I'm certain Sam Heughan sent the millions of fans hearts fluttering, every time he spoke a word or too.
The lovemaking was very well done. So much passion and and exploration, of what's now begin the beginning of the expression of a love, that constantly amazes them at it's depth and consumes them joyfully throughout their lives.
