so I filed my declaration of graduation on Friday. apparently it's not really binding or anything like that, so it seems kind of silly, but I guess they want you to know what you've got to accomplish before you can graduate. luckily, I had no negative surprises. I did find out that I only need 3 more actual classes (after this semester). I'll still have 10 credit hours that I have to take, but I guess they can be whatever I want. so that's cool, but it doesn't really seem right, to be honest.
