TV..NOT
In an attempt, not to watch TV tonight. I decided to try and paint something.
It took me ages to find something I would like to capture and I decided on a photo I took on an evening walk back in early Summer. There is a row of canal boats along a sweeping curve of the canal under an utterly fabulous sunset.
It took me ages to get the curve right and to sketch the perspective of the line of boats, only to realise that I've drawn too far up the sheet to be able to capture the sky. I guess the picture would work with the sky reflected in the water but I strongly suspect that I may have to begin again.
What I actually should have done in an attempt, NOT to watch TV, is exercise... Exercise did not happen and has not happened in quite some considerable time.
