We seem to be going for round two of cold hell only this time it's less sore throat and raised temperature and more snot & coughing.. I think I'd like it to fuck off now!
My plans for this coming week had included a day trip to Alton Towers which has had to be shelved because I doubt I'm up to the driving and full on day out. I've made promises to do the trip in a slightly warmer and hopefully less sickly, May half term.
Right. (It's been pointed out to me recently that the use of the word 'right' before getting up to do anything is a very British thing to do and since hearing this revelation, I agree that literally every Brit does it)...so RIGHT...
...I'm going to get up now and go for a bit of a walk in the fresh air, see if I can find some bluebells, although I think it's probably a bit early in the year for bluebells. I shall then spend the remainder of the day in the same way I've wasted most of the last week... on the sofa with the remote control.
