I've got a new novella -- Get What You Need -- coming soon! I'm so excited! I've been sitting on this news waiting for final versions of the cover art & blurb. I suppose it won't really be officially official until it hits the "Coming Soon" page at Dreamspinner Press, but here's how things look so far:
The cover (pardon me while I mop up some drool...)--
And the summary--
An ordinary Thursday night at Bryan’s Bar in downtown Atlanta, Georgia - home to a staff made up entirely of ex-cons of one stripe or another - turns into something quite different when riled-up police detective Patrick Graves walks in. Bartender Jay Hinshaw recognizes Patrick’s leashed ferocity and offers him exactly what he thinks Patrick wants: an outlet for his pent-up frustration. But Patrick’s a complicated guy, and getting what he wants only scratches the surface of what he needs.
The novella clocks in at just under 20,000 words and is a stand-alone (not a sequel or part of a series). It's currently scheduled for release at the end of September, and once I've got a firm release date, I'll post it along with an excerpt. Whee!
