P.S. I *finally* watched the BSG pilots. It was a bit difficult to watch as it did keep jumping but I stuck with it. Yeah I'm impressed, it's a new idea (for me anyway as I never watched the original) and the women are HOT! ;)

I'm getting a friend to send me the first series :D

heehee, it was the DVD not me chasing the cat :) although she did watch it with me early in the morning, she liked it :)

yes yes the women are indeed hot, even carly thought so and she *hates* sci fi programs and refuses to acknowledge there are hot women in sci fi shows.

As to Carly's reaction: BSG is a character driven drama, even though it revolves around a sf plot arc. I think that's what makes it so special and that's why non-sf lovers like to watch it.

Ron Moore has a lot of Star Trek experience, but he has grown to new levels of story telling with this.
