Haven't posted on here in forever!  Well, that's what teaching 33 difficult kids will do to ya!

Let me update myself since i will undoubtedly look back on this gap with a shame on Melissa feeling.

* Bryan and I have been a happy married couple (despite family misfortune)
* Andrea and I have been teaching together for around 9 months with no major disasters (except of course for the endless drama our kids provide)
* The apartment feels like home, but we are constantly trying to figure out exactly where we want to set down roots (house and all)
* Spock is great but had gained weight over the winter.  We're hoping to slim him down with a new diet and longer walks.
* And i've been back at the soup kitchen for a while now, and though my chopping hand gets sore, it's been great.

I was just looking at all things french and started rethinking our approach to France next time we're in Paris.
- First and foremost we are definitely renting the shared bikes a few days when we're there.  While walking is great, seeing the place on bike is way better.
- Secondly, i will be eating Pan au Chocolate once a day- weight be damned.
- Third: It would be nice to stay in an apartment instead of hotel, so we can actually make some comfort food that feels like home.
- Fourth: I will go for a run every couple of mornings to be outside without a "purpose"
- Fifth: I will find something cute to buy and wear without a shame spiral due to the cost of it. (p.s. i still LOVE what i picked up in London- hehe)
- Sixth: We will look up restaurants and make reservations BEFORE we go.  Since Paris is nothing but restaurant after restaurant, there is no way that just "walking around" will guarantee stumbling across something great.  9 times out of 10 it will be "meh".
-Seventh: I will learn some French (and actually force myself to use it) before going.
- Eighth: I don't have a high tolerance for walking slowly around museums (i get cranky), so i will keep visits to a 1 hour max along with reading and snacking in a near by park =D
- Ninth: I will find the best desserts in Paris (let's face it-  don't really eat the richest meals- but dessert is where i shine!)

Ok- just posting with some plans for the future... Ya know before my own kids ruin everything- My students do well enough now- lol
