I've been reading The Writer's Tale and it's just so fascinating? Insightful? Something. It's just great to read and get a glimpse into RTD's mind. It is a dark, scary place but it's also good to recognize some similar thoughts. Okay, just to say it, it's good to know that I'm not the only one worried about using the term "depression" because people do suffer from Depression and can you really place yourself in the same boat?
(the sad thing is as great as reading this is, and as much as I know it was right for RTD to get out when he did, I MISS HIMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM.)
I'm just going to heart Miranda. "It’s a vicious circle. If you feel hideous, you convey it to people. A couple of male friends from university have said, ‘I quite fancied you, but I wouldn’t have dared…’ and I was like, oh really? I was completely amazed that anyone had ever fancied me, and also that I’d obviously given an impression of ‘Don’t touch me’."
Funnily enough as much as I want those words to take root, I can't.
