I fell and I'm pretty sure my ankle is swollen. This coupled with the boss being back today made me a freaking grump. On the flip-side there are shortbread cookies. :)

top 5 punch-in-the-taco moments
Niu was mean enough to limit this to fandom/tv-related (really, I wanted to punch people because I heard a horrible rendition of Last Christmas (I'm pretty sure it was Cascada) but maybe this will help me limit them. Funnily enough most of these got me angry at the time but I've calmed down, one or two still get me all stabby-stabby rage-rage
5. Not buying Robin Tunney as a law enforcement agent
Okay, so it's all about personal taste, right? So why do I get their opinions shoved in my face (in threads about unrelated shows, mind you). Not cool. Also I totally buy her as a cop, clearly TPTB chose RT to play Lisbon for a reason, and I adore her portrayal of Lisbon. So Nyah TWoP. NYAHHHHHH
4. Donna lost everything awesome about her/getting killed off would be preferable to her actual fate
I got the sense from a few people in the DW fandom that when the Doctor removed Donna's memories he made her lose everything that made her great. When she married I remember seeing a post about how she'd be better off dead, no- she's in love, she's happy, she won't ever remember the Doctor but us fans were able to see this character grow over a season. Let's quit griping, okay?
3. Wanting Leslie to give up her campaign so she could be with Ben
I nearly flounced from TWoP when I read that- how could you want a character to give up the essence of her being to go back to some guy?
Luckily others had a similar reaction to mine, so yay that but the idea of people wanting a beloved character to give up her dreams to be with a guy is just pissing me the fuck off.
2. The X-is-better-than-Y bullshit drama
Okay, Once Upon a Time versus Grimm? Hawaii Five-0 vs. Castle? Joss Whedon vs. the world? I don't give a shit, discuss things rationally please? There's not enough time in the world for me to deal with my anger at "lol, your show is doing worse than mine." and "your show sucks". Grow the fuck up.
1. Booth's attitude to Bones
Didn't he threaten to terminate their relationship if she didn't stay with him at the bar? Didn't he suggest (oh so amusedly) that she'll be the one to propose? Didn't he throw a shit-fit when she didn't want to move in with him/wanted him to move into her place/suggested that they can afford something because she earns more than him?
I talked about this more here top 5 TV moments that made you cry like a baby I don't cry! I came up with five (finally), and three of which I teared up to rather than cried like a baby (also a few of these I've only seen once) . Ugh, I suck so much.
5. Ray's goodbye to Gene in Ashes to Ashes
I think most people called it, that it was the afterlife. For some reason Ray's goodbye was the one that made me cry. Ugh, I can't even find a clip online. Basically it's his "You Have Been, And Always Will Be, The Guv" that sets me off. Ugh.
4. The Tenth Doctor's regeneration/David Tennant discussing it on DWC
It's listed as fourth place because it doesn't usually make me cry, but it did once. Still it's just really sad (I'm a stone-cold bitch). That said I've only seen the episode 3 times and the DWC I've only seen once- I don't even know what DT was saying but I found myself crying watching that show too.

3. Tim Hortons ad
Because I'm a sucker for nationalistic pride and it has some father-son moments. Ughhhhhhh.

2. Father's Day
It brings up so many of my feelings about my dad. Ugh. It's probably one of the hardest episodes of tv for me to get through. Hell I'm kinda teary-eyed now.

1, Donna's memory being wiped I cried myself to sleep so much after I saw this originally. I scared the dog, I kid you not I still cry when I hear The Rueful Fate of Donna Noble.

5 female character BAMF moments
5. Lisbon punching the shrink
It's so hard to choose when it comes to Lisbon, she makes me all so flaily but dammit I pretty much cheered out loud when she punched this guy.
4. Beckett threatening to put a bullet through the hostage taker's head
She broke every rule about negotiating but he threatened Castle first. I just loved the way Stana delivered that line.
3. Donna leaving the TARDIS while on the Sontaran ship
Okay, so this might be an atypical BAMF moment but in my opinion it is a BAMF moment. I mean she was scared to leave the dafety of the TARDIS but did so anyway, and used a fucking mallet on a Sontaran. ♥
2. Molly killing Bellatrix
"Not my daughter, you bitch" The BAMFiest words ever written in the Harry Potter series. Also, it was pretty sweet seeing Molly so unrefined and truly angry.
Barbara driving a truck over daleks
Barbara stole a truck and ploughed through a group of Daleks, it was insane. She then managed to get out of the truck seconds before the Daleks destroyed it. I still love it.
