1. I really resent the sexifying of female spies/terrorists. I'm pretty sure Fatima is smart enough and awesome enough not to wear high-heeled boots with fatigues. Cine on, people!
2. This ties into point 1, I feel like we're still not getting a lot of character development when it comes to Sarah. It saddens me. At least we've got other female characters (Beckman, Frost, and even Ellie) who are growing a bit (or at least being a bit more human than object).
3. John Casey is my one and only woobie. Yes, fandoms have woobies, but he's the only one I've taken on.
4. I found myself more enthralled by Beckman/Roan in one episode than I was throughout 4 seasons of Chuck/Sarah.
Day Seven: A female character that needs more screen time
The Sarah Jane Adventures' Gita Chandra. I feel like some of you are eyeing me, but she's pretty awesome. Or maybe I'm biased (Mina Anwar is awesome). I recognize the show is about Sarah Jane, Clyde, Rani, and Luke (well not so much now) and it handles women and minority characters awesomely (much better than some shows meant for adults) but I always want more Gita. She's smart, runs her own business, and is loving. How is she not awesome?
