So... James fell into the bonfire on Saturday night... well, when I say "fell into" I mean "fell and nearly burned himself, but was lucky enough to not fall right into the fire"... somehow this idea horrified echoes_of_songs. Still it's either the fire or back into a tree twice because he decided he was sober enough to drive. Wait, no both happened. Lightly back into the tree, drive forward, and than bam! back into the tree even harder. Yeah, I spoke to him before the party and I think he's suffering from permanent stupidity due to alcoholism.

I'm still really amused by the BookWorld (Thursday Next) series. After introducing Temperence Brennan to Emperor Zhark and Mrs Tiggy-Winkle:
"Hello," said Zhark, sizing her up for matrimony as he shook her hand. "How would you like the power of life or death over a billion godless heathens?"
She paused for a moment and raised an eyebrow.
"Montreal suits me just fine."
