Day 30 - Whatever Tickles Your Fancy

I bought the second Thursday Next book, I love Fforde's writing- I'm fascinated by alternate realities and mucking up English literature.

I also splurged on The Five Ghosts album by Stars and I'm really digging it so far. I'm not even done my first listen but I've got the feeling they've grown up since In our Bedroom After the War (though I had that suspicion since the Sad Robots E.P.)

this is an interesting opinion piece on the Pamela Anderson PETA Poster controversy

Yes, maybe if PETA used male models to drive home the point it would make people happier, it would make *me* happier, but I really don't think Montreal has a leg to stand on when families walk down St. Catherine Street seeing pictures of nude women.
Plus from what I've heard, Pamela Anderson's unfunny JFL gala was a lot more offensive to anyone paying. Yeah.
