1) Write down 7 things that piss you off (in no particular order).
i. The flu.
ii. Johnnie failing to pay the cell phone bill and not telling me, so I give out my cell # as the "best way to reach me" only to find out later that it's been turned off. Grr.
iii. Non-specific messages on answering machines, especially the automated ones; calling a single female and hearing a male voice say, "Please leave a message after the tone," really throws me off.
iv. Being sick.
v. Them not making medicine for nausea _and_ headaches. Mixing medications makes me nervous, so I end up trying to ignore one of my symptoms, which never works.
vi. That the phone jack in my bedroom doesn't work. I'm sure ktbee is getting sick of seeing my computer on the dining room table.
vii. Well-meant but high-maintenance gifts (ie: a car that needs a _lot_ of work). Gee, thanks, something else to spend my non-existent money on...
2) (Gracey's Amendment): Now write down 7 things that make you happy.
i. Being in love.
ii. Morgan (when she's not crawling on me while I'm sick and trying to nap).
iii. The imminence of spring.
iv. The imminence of my birthday.
v. International phone calls to make sure I'm okay.
vi. Sunshine.
vii. Having a day off from both work _and_ Morgan.
3) (Para's Amendment): List 7 fun things that you wish you could get paid to do for a living.
i. Writing (one of these days, I _will_ get paid for it)
ii. Reading. Just plain reading, not reading and then having to write up insightful reviews or anything.
iii. Watching Stargate.
iv. Attempting to keep Alan "sane."
v. Sleeping.
vi. Playing Tetris.
vii. Learning languages (and not necessarily having to _apply_ that knowledge, as with the "reading" above).
4) (Llei's Amendment): List 7 things you just don't *get*.
i. Low-brow humor.
ii. Reality TV.
iii. The craze over Paris Hilton.
iv. Cars.
v. Health Insurance.
vi. Our landlord's insistence that we not paint over the (badly) sponge-painted walls in our living and dining rooms.
vii. The gates to our parking lot, which need to be opened and closed by hand when arriving or leaving, but which are not locked and are therefore not much of a deterrent. So why have them?

i. Being called for a Grand Office.
ii. June 29, 2002
iii. The day Morgan was born.
iv. My years at Cottey.
v. Specifically, the Moliere plays.
vi. Or my candle-lighting.
vii. Playing the Nurse in Romeo & Juliet and, "making us think you actually _like_ Autumn!" (the girl playing Juliet. I hated her. But that's what "acting" is all about, ne?)
