Janet made sure the hall was empty, then unlocked Daniel's apartment, then threw a grin over her shoulder at Liz. "Maybe we'll be able to find that dictionary while we're here," she said. "Besides, I need to get Daniel's mail, and make sure none of his artifacts have spontaneously self-destructed since he left."
Liz giggled. "Does he really have that many?" she asked.
Janet stopped just inside the doorway and stared at Liz. "Who is this we're talking about again?"
Liz nodded, her eyes gleaming with amusement. "Right. Does he have snacks here at all, or are we going to have to terrify the Chinese delivery boy again?"
"His entire freezer is stocked full of ice cream," said Janet.
