"You can love whoever you wish to, as long as their genitalia is of the opposite variety. This is the message that Bush sends each time he denounces homosexuality or gay marriage. What if we had a law saying that you could not marry librarians? President Bush would be quite lonely at night without Mrs. “I am a Librarian” Bush to keep him warm. Gay people do not say “Hey Bush, I do not want to marry a librarian; nor should you.” So, Bush should not say, “Hey Gay people, I do not want to marry gay people; nor should you.” It is really quite clear and understandable."
This is an excerpt from my paper on gay marriage and how it is part of the pursuit of happiness that all Americans are entitled to.
Something makes me think I may end up forced to take this out...
