The House and the memories...

I was just reading Gengianettaremigio posting about Mike and Amy moving. That house hold very special memories for me, each and ever time I pass there on the way to church I can still feel the excitement, the love, the joy and I magic that house gave to Earl and I so many years ago, I can hear the music from Elfwyn as she sang at our wedding song. More then anything I would love to live there yet right now Earl and I are working so hard on trying to save and fix our finances so that some day we can have a house.

In the year of 2000, Judy and Steven kindly opened they home and yard to Earl and I so that we could afford to get married. They work so hard on making the yard look like a garden chapel, complete with a trellis, decorated with flowers and ribbon bow, and as we enter the tress there was a beautiful fish pond filled with fish and live plants surrounding the pond. So prefect. and Guest starting arriving, and the every thing was grand, except for one small detail, a hurricane was brewing and we were getting the winds, and rain. Before long I sat with horror as I watched the bow, flowers, and fish, swirling around the yard, the trellis fell over, How would we ever have a wedding with all of this, and where would we put 60 guest to keep the safe from the storm. I figure it was the faith sisters letting me know that maybe this was not the best time to jump into a marriage, but my friends believed differently.

As Tali sat on the pouch and looked out into the distance, it come to him that the house across the street was empty, and that Judy had the key. Tali, Judy and Bela talked and with some planning and moving, before you knew they turn the living room of the house across the street into a beautiful chapel, with a alter, and sitting room for all the guest, And the wedding was more they I ever imagined it would be, a memory that will stay with me the rest of my life.
Who ever lives in Mike and Amy home I hope that they are blessed as much as I was that day, and hope that they will hear the music that has always warmed my heart. Some times I will watch out wedding tape just to hear Elfwyn sing that song, and see all of the magic that went on that day.

That house will always hold a special place in my heart, but it was not the house that made the magic it was the friends that there.
