Ok I admit it, I am a morning person, I love the beginning of a new day, dawn is my favorite time of day it bring with it hope for a better day. The things that I get to see at dawn are incredible, as the sun is starting to rise the birds begin a chores of singing to greet the day, they move from tree to tree looking for at one special place of rest, the wood peckers come out in force looking for the new feast from the night before, and the wild life takes movement. A fox that run the neighborhood, move slowly thur the yard stopping only to check out new smell or sounds along it path, deers stop to munch on the grass covered with the dew of the morning, and every so often a possum or raccoon with move along the way looking for a place to hide.
Dawn is great, and this morning I got the pleasure of seeing the fox.
A few weeks ago as I was leaving to go to the laundry mat, I had the unusual pleasure of watching a family of otter's moving a cross the road from one water way to another, I stopped to watch and listen to the chatter while three were on one side of the road and three on the other, afraid that I would try to catch them. They barked back and forth to each other sending messages that I only wish I could understand. I have gone back several time with my camera hoping to catch a glimpse of them again but so far the are staying very well hidden from human eye, and if I sit long enough I heard the barking across the small pond giving me hope to see them again.
