Oh, that wool is lovely. May I ask where you bought it?

Of course! I shopped with British Fabrics on ebay. They have a lot of wool suiting, but also some lovely colours very well fit for medieval or renaissance wear. Great service, and quick response.

Britain is one of my favorite places to shop for wools and linens, but Germany has some great stuff as well. Basically, the Dutch ebay site is the one I visit least of all!

Oh, too funny!
You want to spiral lace those bodys, it makes a difference.

I will. For my mock-ups I just didn't want to fiddle with tricky lacing. The holes are spaced 4 cm apart and I didn't use an awl either. There's so many corners I cut it's ridiculous!

How do you find it tricky, spiral lacing?

I just didn't want to bother with it as it takes a wee bit more concentration than I could spare.

Would you mind introducing yourself, since you're reading my blog and I haven't a clue who you are.

Hey!

The wool is fantastic!
I really like Marianne's dress as it is now, it make her look innocent (and of course she is...)
but now I'm really curious for the new improved Marianne.

Your Karnun boys are going to have their hands full on you.
Only because you will attract attention (good luck boys, with your low profile ;-)

see you soon in Maerquin, and I contact you about tenth kingdom/fashion books etc.
:-)

Hey! =)
Marianne will remain as innocent as she always was. She will also get a hobby, now that the voices in her head are gone. ;-)

I was wondering if you were still enthusiastic about the gnomes on the summoning? Nobody is really replying to my post on the Maerquin forum...=(
