Dropped out!
This morning the final spot of team V was filled and I'm officially out of the race. I got this far:
Apparently I was in one of the three fastest teams and although I'm a little disappointed the team was full so fast, I remind myself that I wasn't going to go through to round 2 anyway. With five days left on the clock for this round, it does seem uncharacteristically fast, but there's nothing I can (or would) change about it now. At least the available spots have all gone to very enthusiastic knitters!
I'll finish off the socks, and because I hadn't done the toe of sock 1 yet, I can still make them to any size.
