Ugh, where did January go? 2012 is going to pass by so fast isn’t it?

Anyway. My words are doing well but I’m a bit behind on my monthly total for January. I’m not worried because, well … it is only January.
I’m signing up for the Merlin big bang - the sign-ups open on Wednesday, and I’ve already done a partial outline, like a grown-up. If anyone wants to sign up, the link is here: http://paperlegends.livejournal.com/ It’s 30k but the timeline is nice and long and it seems to generate amazing stories.
Also opening up for signage is the Cockbert Big Bang, though the minimum wordcount there is 5k, so it’s more like a mini big bang. That’s here: http://cockbertbigbang.livejournal.com/ Not sure if I’m going to do that one. It is a short word count but I failed spectacularly last year and the question remains: who to pair Adam with? Plus I haven’t written any Adam fic in ages. So. Yeah. Not sure.
I still haven’t started my GYWO 15k fic yet. Mostly because I’m still wittering on what I want to write. Possibly Sherlock but I don’t really know for sure.
I have been writing, though. I’m about 2/3 (I hope) of the way through a Tinker Tailor Peter/Richard (movie bf) fix-it fic. Well, it’s supposed to be fix-it fic. It turns out Richard has a lot of feelings. Given that he was on screen for something like two minutes, he’s awfully chatty in my head. *Sigh*
So, anyway, the gwaine_quest “Jamuary” fics were posted this weekend and here’s mine: http://gwaine-quest.livejournal.com/19920.html#cutid1 - it’s Gwaine/Merlin pre-slash. I was actually organised for once and wrote it well in advance so it was shiny and ready to go.
I keep forgetting that I also signed up for the Merlin canon-fest but submissions aren’t due until March 14, so I have a bit of time. I signed up for Merlin/Percival. That should be interesting - lol.
I’m hoping to finish this TTSS fic this week so I can start in on the Merlin big bang like a proper, organised grown-up writer.
