Sunday ...
... apparently I'm doing this again. Who knew?
So, anyway, the CBB drafts are due next Sunday. Yeah ... about that. I think I've chosen a pairing. Maybe. But I'm vascillating. Still. Sigh.
I'm probably going to ~do Adam/Chris Colfer and I was going to set it canon timeline but then my muse showed up last night and went "Hey, this'd be an awesome Playboy AU outtake!" And I went "Fml, muse, get the fuck out of here. If I do one I have to do all of them AND THAT MAKES ME WANT TO CRY AND ROCK IN A CORNER."
Muse: "Your point?"
Me: "I hate you."
Muse: "YOUR POINT?"
Me: ...
Muse: "That's what I thought. Now woman up and deal."
Sigh.
Anyway. I knocked a charity fic off the list, so there's that. Twas for the help_queensland auction and tis here: http://ficbyjane.livejournal.com/4102.html It's Kradam, which I haven't written in forever, but maybe it'll be enough to knock some amnesia fic loose. ;)
It felt good to be writing again, after the scorched-earth that was the LBB for me (for you).
So for this week, I need to get some words down so I actually HAVE a CBB rough draft to submit. And er ... amnesia? Maybe another charity fic as well. Yeah. Let's say that - lol.
I had last week off work but didn't do much beyond hang out with Patrick and read, which has been good, actually. I've been taking longer twitter-breaks, too, which has also proved to be a good thing.
There's been a lot going on, it seems like, fandom-wise and in real life but I've been writing this post since 11am (not that you'd notice it - lol) and so I'm not going to go into it.
I will say this, on the subject of fandom/shipping/fic:
Adam Lambert: some guy, in LA. Living his life, being fabulous, ridiculously talented, and (hopefully) fucking small Finnish boys every chance he gets.
Adam Lambert in my head: YOU ARE MINE AND I WILL BEND YOU TO MY FICTIONAL WILL.
The two things are very, very, very different.

Oh, wait! One more thing. There's a help_nz comm, raising funds for Christchurch.
