Rain rain.......flood!....It's gone!
It's finally stopped raining, no more worrying about flooding waters while on the way to "work" in the morning. I hate how it gets here, at least Brownsville never flooded so quickly but then, it isn't a desert either. :)
In a week or so we'll be having a visitor. Gris! (NO! Not the Gris from here, the one back in Texas!). Mom's hoping to get a bed and have the second bedroom done and clean by then. God....where to put what where. There's so much crap in that room.....and then to think there's so much more back aaaaaaal the way down in the deep south Texas. If we ever go down to go fetch it....instead of taking the scary twisting....turning Hoover Dam....we're going through laughlin....two hours more but much safer! And not nearly as narrow! x_x
And Gris needs to get her teeth done, unless mom gets some money enough to take care of the room and whatnot....and have enough extra, we might take her to Tijuana instead of her going on the bus. We'll see....I'd love to go, only because I'm getting used to traveling often. Always good to see another border of Mexico. XD
Now that I've got knitting down (if only I'd finish the sweater), I need to work on my sewing. That needs some working on. I think after I do my first project (whatever that is....) I should be okay.
And now....I'm going to go cook something.
