All signs point to Buddy Holly

In the quest to compile the ULTIMATE originals/ covers by the Beatles playlist I've been getting into the stuff THEY listened to before they got big.

Today was Buddy Holly serendipity!

I was listening to "Mailman, Bring me No More Blues" and became pretty obsessed with it, so I learned to play it on my ukulele. I listened to the song over and over in the car 'cause it's so good. Then when I got home I opened up Netflix and it recommended a "true life sentimental drama" in the form of...The Buddy Holly Story! So I watched it...good, but I wanted to see what he really looked like, so I went on YouTube and watched some Ed Sullivan...but then it recommended the "truest" documentary about him put together by Paul McCartney. Watched that. Also good.

Then I had to go to class, where I sketched a little picture of Buddy on my notes. And then I went to buy a snack, and Weezer's "Buddy Holly" started playing on the radio.

Oh Buddy, I'm kind of in love with you.
