Yay! My birthday!
From start to finish, it was awesome. Dave made us pancakes, and we got ready for the party...I had a pretty low-key party, but pretty much all the key players were there, so I was happy. There were spooky hors d'oeuvres, and candy, and adorable trick-or-treaters, and eventually some serious Beatles Rock Band. Around midnight we wound it down and went to bed.
I got some great presents!
Cody's was a standout: he got me a customized Romance novel starring me and Dave! It's called "Click for Love" and all the names are replaced, so the story is about us. It's hilariously awesome. Also, he got me the Pride and Prejudice graphic novel. Sweet!
Dave blew me away by getting me a first edition of Sons of the Sheik, which I had been craving and couldn't find anywhere. He also got me Royal Tenenbaums on DVD, which we'd been missing since Ian took his away.
My mom got me some cool science writing books and an autographed copy of Jimmy Carter's book, which doubles the size of my presidential autograph collection.
Ian and Angela, respectively, got me two Tank Girl TPBs and a book of words that sound filthy but actually aren't.
So...tons of awesome reading material!!
