And so, since the advent of days without homework, I have gone creative. First the TARDIS, then a doll, and I finally finished my painting of Dave that has been in the works so long.
The painting is of Dave punching out a Dalek, from Doctor Who. It's been so very long since I painted that I felt pretty out of practice, but I finished it at last (click for bigger):
The doll has a head, arms and legs made from air-dry craft porcelain, and glazed with sculpy glaze. Her body is made of and stuffed with muslin. Her belt buckle is one link of a chain. She's about six inches tall. Making her and her dress was one of the funnest things I've done in a long time! Here are some pictures of her sitting in the windowsill:
