When Sue (my best friend) and I were little girls we must've rented all the movies from the horror section. We loved anything with zombies, ghosts, monsters and evil robots, dolls, puppets, animals, etc. From bad to bad-ass we've seen it all. Well, with the exception of the following must see's, which are considered the pinnacle of bad movies (Wait till I tell my sweetie. It's going to be a fun filled weekend!):
1. Dead Alive - AWESOME! Kung Fu Catholic priest and lawnmower wielding lad battle zombies!
2. The Dark Power - Four ancient indian sorcerers arise from the dead and battle Lash LaRue.
3. Plan 9 From Outer Space - Aliens wish to destroy Earth before we discover a bomb which explodes sunlight.
4. Destroy All Monsters
5. Gamera: Guardian of the Universe - A fantastic giant monster movie.
6. Killer Clowns from Outer Space - Aliens that look like demented clowns turn a town into cotton candy snacks!
7. The Aboninable Dr. Phibes - Vincent Price stars in what is almost a perfect black comedy. Hmmm... ...die like an Egyptian?
8. Meet The Feebles - Warped movie about puppets doing drugs and having sex Probably makes Jim Henson turn over in his grave.
9. Rodan - Two giant monsters threaten mankind's existence, a great movie from the folks at Toho.
10. Robot Monster - Earth is brought to it's knees by one horny alien in a gorilla suit.
11. Starcrash - Where else could you find David Hasselhoff using a lightsabre to battle killer robots?
12. The Blob (1958) - A true classic of the genre. Watch as Steve McQueen fights a hungry horror from outer space!
13. Body Melt - New vitamins which cause people to melt and explode plague Australia.
14. Uninvited - A killer mutant cat that hides inside another cat.
15. Cemetary Man - Francesco must stop the zombies which infest his graveyard.
Note: Yes I realize "Meet the Feebles" is out of place, but it sounds like a good one.

Had a very nice afternoon at the beach. It's our new gig, be at the beach at 5:00 PM. It's when it's free, hardly anybody's there because everybody has gone home, the sand has been clean up, the sun isn't as harsh, the seagulls are at peace, the breeze so wonderful, the sunset so beautiful. On the boardwalk the nearby residents were enjoying their after-work afternoon strolls. Almost everybody had their summer sweaters and sweatshirts over their swimsuits, licking ice cream cones bought from the nearly parlor. I am in love with the feeling. Makes me want to buy a summer house out there.
In the meantime i'll have to wake up from my dream and be ready to face yet another day at summer school.
