(no subject)
Huge cup of Starbucks Americano or Tylenol Flu Nightime Maximum Strength. I had both about 2 hours ago. Which will win? Will I be wide-eyed or shut-eyed?
I said no more "school entries" but what the heck. It is the last week & 1/2 and finals are in another week & 1/2. I will be studying like a mad woman ofcourse.
On the 17th I will be a godmother, AGAIN. It's so nice of people to think of me this way. I already have 6 godchildren back in the islands, all of whom are my first cousins, my first cousins or my aunts and uncles kids. Here in NYC I have a godson whose probably about 13 years old now. This time around it's a baby girl named Pearl. Little Pearl from the Bronx. I used to work with her mother.
I had a great weekend. On Friday we had dinner at +===>AMERICA<===+. No clubbing afterwards because the birthday girl had to be at work by 8AM the following day. Let me just say that the brownies a la mode was INCREDIBLE. Maybe it tasted that way because we had red wine, but hot damn it's the best desert I've ever had since that "Death by Chocolate" chocolate cake with chocolate ice cream at +===>Cafe Figaro<===+ in 1993.
The barbeque on Saturday was good. We didn't start till the sun was already down. I had to rush S & R as they ate up because I really wanted to catch XMen by 9:30, which we did.
On Sunday we spent the afternoon at M's apartment. Nice crib. It's our new chillin spot you know! =). The girl is chillin. She owns the apartment and drives a sweet BMW.
Boy, seems like Tylenol Flu is winning with a KO, literally.
