cannot wait to get out of this contracting crap. i've worked 24 hours in two days and that's only because i'm not allowed to work more than 50 hours a week, and they needed to space us out a bit.
i hate it. i have things i want to do, friends i want to catch up with (kate), i want to go to the gym, clean my condo, read a book...you know, things that involve having a life.
but instead, because of my hours requirement, i am no worried about going on vacation next week because PTO counts against you. so now i have to work double time to make it up--i can't even spread it out, i have to make those 40 hours in three days just so i can take two days off. my boss suggested that i work on my pto. then tell me what the hell the point is of pto?
this is all crap. i hate it, i don't want to do it anymore. especially when after 100+ hours of work, our client shits on it because they had resistence and he has no spine so he blamed us.
i could write a book on first hand experience as to why the government is so fucked up it's just hemorraging, shitting, and vomitting money.
