Ah...where to begin? Classes?? Sure, why not. ITT 200 is driving me insane, I hate that class...too frickin' boring. I'm doing very well in the class, I just hate it. Never take an intro class your senior year...very bad idea. Authorware is going well. I like the class, it's fun, and I think the teacher loves me, so that's a plus! Roger's class...well, my website is completely done, just have to make a few finishing touches. However, he wants print outs of all of our pages plus source code. Do you know how much paper and ink we're gonna waste? It's crazy! He told us the reason why is because if there's a mistake, he has to say "on this page, 3rd paragraph, 2nd line, fourth word" and it's too complicated on his part. I dunno, I understand that part, it's just crazy. Weiss' class...it's a normal Weiss' class, no complaints. I got the schedule book last weekend and figured out that night what my schedule is for next semester. (For some reason, I love when schedule books come out for the next semester, and I always figure out my schedule that same day, as soon as I can sit down at look at it...I'm crazy like that). So yeah, I'm taking "print production management", doesn't that sound like fun?! Ugh...I dunno, it's probably good I'm taking that class, but WHY CAN'T THE 2ND PRODUCTION CLASS BE AVAILABLE!!!! *CRIES!* I asked Andi, my advisor, that question and her response is "we're a teacher short". Grrr...everyone says the print production management class is super boring, not one person said they liked it. Oh well, at least I'll have Weiss for that class. The only other option is the html class w/Roger and I can't take that even if I wanted to because it conflicts with an ITT class. Plus, I only need 3 more gcom hrs to graduate, and Weiss' class will do it for me. On to ITT. I'm taking presentations (have to, core course, but it sounds fun!), digital/electronic imagery, and large format printing. Can't complain there! AND...here's a shocker to everyone who knows me...ready???? I'm taking another art class! This class has appealed to me ever since I found out about it, which was like soph. year. It's metal jewelry. Katie's gonna take it w/me! Plus, any art major/minors who want to take it w/us...please do! (hint, Kyla, Grace...) It sounds so much fun! The reason I didn't really enjoy design was because it was paper/pencil...I freak out then, but this is jewelry, like crafts! I love making crafts, it's drawing of any form I don't like. But seriously, every semester during finals week they have the craft sale at the art gallery. I go almost every semester cuz I love looking at the things people have made. This class being one of them. I always fall in love w/one of the jewelry pieces, but the cheapest item is usually earrings, which costs at least 20 bucks. Granted it's all one of a kind and all the proceeds to go the art dept., so it's a good cause, but what college student can afford it?! That's another reason I want to take the class, have fun jewerly after the class. And I am glad I took design. It proved to me that I can somewhat draw...I did a lot of things in that class I didn't think I was capable of. Plus, if I didn't take that class, I can't take the jewelry class!
Wow...enough about classes, geez! AIGA! Weiss decided the day before the due date, he was gonna e-mail Katie telling her he wants us to compete in the bulletin board competition. Katie pretty much flies into my room to tell me this. I'm like "uh...wow..." He gave us the option of coming in the morning to do it or during class time. Katie and I both were like "class time!". We had one hour to take down the old stuff and put brand new stuff up. We could have done a better job, but under the circumstances, we didn't do bad at all! In fact....we got 3rd!!!! So this week, we get to choose designs for Halloween t-shirts to sell in the union. I'm excited!
Speaking of Halloween...haven't heard back yet from the costume place, but hopefully they'll get my costume and it will fit! For those of you who don't know, I'm going as "midnight fairy", or I should say I'm try to go as "midnight fairy". I can always look around again to find something if that doesn't work. Worse comes first though, I can always go as a Catholic school girl...I have the materials for that in my closet as we speak. I just know I don't want to go as a french maid again...not 3 yrs in a row...it was bad enough 2 years in a row. Oh well, at least Katie got her dream costume!
Other than that, lately life's been pretty dull. I've been procrastinating homework, usually by hanging out in Katie's room or watching tv, or being on the computer (oddly, the homework I was procrastinating I needed a computer to do it and I was on the computer anyways). Obviously since I've updated last I've done stuff w/other people, but here lately I've just been in Janelle world, I guess...or lala-land. Um...lala-land seems to fit better. I don't know, it just seems like all my other friends are hanging out w/other people and I don't want to be inviting myself. Granted they'd probably be like "dude! join us!", but that's okay. I'm going home this weekend, probably a good thing. So yeah, anyone who will be in the area and wants to do something, let me know! Actually, I've been talking to Alicia, and we decided we need to get all the people we can get, probably from our class and all girls (for girls night out of course!), even though that part hasn't been said, just people from hs, and go out together and do something. We don't know what yet or when, but probably Thanksgiving break when everyone's home. So, I'm excited for that now! Oh and guys...why does it seem that every guy I'm not interested in likes me and the very few guys I do like, granted I don't think there's anyone I really do like right now - the guys I did like, the phase has gone now, but anyways, they don't like me? I don't know, maybe I'm just being super picky, or like the old saying "you want what you can't have". I don't know, I don't mind being single, it's fun...get to flirt w/all the guys you want, have all the girls night you want w/out a bf saying "we can't be together tonight?!", just not having a care in the world, I mean as no one to answer to like "what'd you do tonight" like if you say the wrong thing, you'll feel bad. Granted w/guys that's kinda hard to do, they usually don't care and love the thought of girls night cuz then they get to think of what's going on then, but still. The point I'm trying to make is you get to do whatever you want, live the way you want w/out being tied down. Not that I think people are tied down during relationships, it shouldn't be that way at all, but you guys know what I'm saying. Yeah, I should shut up right now about this. I don't know, I do like the single life, but it would be nice to have a guy I like, like me back and have fun w/him.
So this movie I watched last night, lol... It was called "Haunting Sarah". It was on lifetime. I saw the preview like 3 hrs before and thought it sounded good, but then was like "let's see if I remember at 8 to turn it on". I happened to be watching "Will and Grace" at the time and it was on after that, so I got to watch it! But yeah, it was a really weird, yet interesting movie. It was about twins and how one affects the other and spirits haunting a living being. Ha, I don't want to give too much of the movie away, but it was good. Like I said though, really weird.
Yup, I think I've updated enough, lol. Time to do something else...t-shirt design, website, laundry...should probably eat sometime too, it's almost lunch time. Anyways, I'll write...again...sometime...later...
LOVE YA!
