Back to Life, Back to Reality
I don't wanna work. I just wanna play...dah dah dah.
Today is as Monday as Monday can get. It currently POURING RAIN which of course means I have a meeting across campus. Across campus used to mean a half block away in Grinnell, but now I a bus ride isn't out of the question at the University of Minnesota.
This past weekend was fantastic. I spent part of it at my friend, Allie's cabin. All conditions of the weekend were ideal: clear skies, warm temps without being muggy. Not *too* many bugs and west nile carrying mosquitoes. One potential bat incident but that just adds to the drama doesn't it? To view my weekend http://hyperbolical.org/cabin.html
The first part of my weekend was spent playing with my new boy, Scott. He is precious. My sister Emily and her boyfriend, Josh gave him their stamp of approval after having drinks with him at Dixie's. After drinks, Scott and I watched commercials from the '50's and I was traumatized by seeing that the Flintstones made Winston commercials- Wilma isn't supposed to smoke!!!
I am happy to be on live journal again. Hopefully Kate will still be my friend.
