Engraved In Her Heart

Ever since you and her started talking,
Ever since you greeted her, 'Hi'
All she could think about,
All what her heart shouted was your name.

You didn't know it,
You didn't know how she longs for you,
You didn't know how much she thinks,
How much she thinks of you and only you.

It took her months,
To determine wether she was in love,
And by the time she knew,
All she hoped was that you'd feel the same.

Because of the overwhelming feeling,
Because of the strong desire,
She confessed, risking her friendship with yours,
But you rejected her.

You begged her not to leave,
Though she wanted to move on,
All because you said you love her,
But not as strong as her love.

It got her confused and puzzled,
You didn't know of you love her or not,
You didn't know how to love,
You didn't know how much she loves you.

Admittedly, you're a fool,
A fool for not knowing how you feel,
A fool for being unsure,
A fool for being so fearful.

You were too scared,
You fear being hurt,
You don't want heartbreaks,
You hate crying.

But then months passed,
You realized you loved her deeply,
You finally accepted her love,
You finally risked it all.

But that time, when you two were happy,
Obstacles and hardships came,
She was forcefully separated from you,
And all she could do was cry.

Every night and day,
All she could think of was you,
Thinking if you had forgotten about her,
Thinking if your love for her faded.

But after all those hardships,
After trying to move on and forget,
There she was, running back to you,
That's because you've been engraved both in her mind and heart.
