Day the Third
It is 10:30 at night, and I am awake. This wouldn't normally be a bad thing, in fact, I would be pleased- except I am going to be going to bed in an hour and a half, so I hope that by then I am not awake.
It's been one of those days.
I've gotten quite a bit done. My room is becoming ever more clean and organized. My closet is slowly joining it. I sent out another letter to my darling incarcerated fiancee, and picked up a book at the library that had been on hold. I've got a stack of books to take to the used bookstore, too, but I got distracted at the library and didn't quite make it to the bookstore. No problem, I'll go tomorrow.
I also woke up with an awesome idea for a Laby fic, and I have the first little bit written. How you turn my world you precious thing...
If only I could get past the major writer's block I've got on the other fic I started several years ago. It needs finished. And my Jane Austen fics (four) that need finished. Not to mention my novel in it's partially-done state. Something needs to change here.
So, that is another thing to work on. It's positive that I've got such good ideas. I need to focus on finishing these lovely projects I've started.
Speaking of projects that need finished. I have a quilt half-cut-out. I have another I need to cut out. I need to have this done by the time my financial aid comes, because then I can go get the material to finish them. Backing, etc., and notions and maybe some more sock yarn... or the block of the month, or the shawl knit-along... I can't make up my mind. Fortunately, I've got lots of time.
I'm still on a True-Blood fix- I'm watching season 2. Eric is so adorable. I'm still on a Laby fic binge, but I did find a nice new story on AHA that's an AU Pride and Prejudice. It's nice to diversify.
I'm hopeful that at the end of the week, I'll be in a mental position to start working again. It's going to be nice to get myself out of this place.
I've got $3000 of the $10,000 coming my way. I still need $7000. It's on it's way; I can trust that it's coming, because it is!
