Time to Write Class #1
(We played Stitch and Bitch, which is kinda hard to re-create at home, but here's a home-game version)
So this week we wrote on 4 different themes:
The Ups and Downs of Marriage
Blue
I'm Not Myself Today
Culture.
Try all four, writing for 2-5 minutes on each. Try to ignore your inner censor as much as possible.
**Revise as needed, and let us know next class how you arrived at your revisions. Bring in your favorite 1-2 poems from that exercise to share.
***Also! Do something nice for your poems--could be as literal as buying some pens but it doesn't have to be...go for a walk, read out loud, could be anything.
