1. Lint brushes are important.
2. The kids all drew butterflies for my dad: "Dear Mr. Mark, I hope you feel better." etc. Building a community of emo kids.
3. Dom Delouise said something important. In some commercial in the 80s, there's him, looking out over a vast landscape of food, saying "Do you think it'll be enough?" That line keeps running through my head.
4. Someday, Amy and I need to be well off enough to buy sudden plane tickets-that is real adulthood.
5. I am really upset about missing the Philly Slam finals. Andrea Gibson is coming, and I was gonna Slam Mistress. I hope the right team gets chosen. You know who you are.
6. Every so often, I get the sensation that someone helpful is sitting down next to me, and then there's no one there. I sometimes think it's Huey P. Newton, but mostly, it's probably Gramma Wiedmann. I didn't think it was weird until I just matter-of-fact mentioned it to Amy. I'm terrified of ghosts but not this one. Also, I don't really believe in ghosts, even though my Aunts told me when I was little that people's spirits live in houses, trapped in the rusty nails.
