Cabin Feels, The Key Adventures, and Collection Update 13-05

Wow, talk about a wasted day!

Went out and got some food on Wednesday morning. Enjoyed Yverdon-Les-Bains, as heart breaking as it was. Obviously going to be at least one more (we need a Z, after all). And even though I was 99.9% sure how it was going to end, it still kind of got me. Didn't expect it to be that abrupt! Poor... well, everyone! Still, was an awesome episode. Absolutely hilarious, as usual. Douglas and Herc were a riot. And Martin trying to rate his flying ability. But Arthur and the dragonfruit, though! Pretty much stopped breathing for laughing so hard everytime he said something (or tried to). Finnemore is amazing. I seriously can't tell you how much I love this show.

So anyway, I stayed up later than I planned, drowning in the Yverdon tumblr posts. Thus I only got a few hours sleep, because I also had to work early. Got up for work... and I couldn't find my key anywhere. I was already running late for work, so I just grabbed mom's key. When I got home for work I started searching. It obviously had to be in the house, because I'd used it to get in. I spent all day searching. Looked everywhere it could have gone. Checked my pockets multiple times, checked the area around where I'd set down my hoodie, then started tearing my room apart in all the places it could have bounced to. Hell, I even looked in the freezer incase it somehow went in with the food. No luck. Mom said she'd get a spare key cut for me on Friday. Went to bed for about 4 hours, then got to get up for work.

So then yesterday after work I spent some time reorganizing my room after my frantic search. I decided while I was at it to my room on my shelf for the WDCC pieces I have coming. In front of said shelf I have a pile of all my Tarzan blankets, pillows, etc... because I haven't figured out the best way to store them yet (not actually using them on my bed because my cats like to knead and I don't want any tears in them). Also on this pile were a couple of notebooks. When I moved the pile aside to reach the shelf I heard a clink, and wouldn't you know it, there are my keys! I don't know how it's possible, but the keys managed to get wedged under the notebooks!!

Was so tired from the lack of sleep and key hunting, I ended up just catching up on Supernatural and then I went to sleep. Yay for 3 day weekends. I actually didn't hate my self for sleeping in today! Although I do hate myself for getting nothing but this done so far.

3 seperate orders I placed recently taking advantage of sales.

DS order #1:

ºoº Finally got myself a Jungle Book snowglobe! I love this globe, so perfect. Also got a couple of Tinkerbell ornaments, but forgot to take a picture of them.

DS order #2:

ºoº Donald and Cri-Kee plush! As you can see, Cri-Kee's eyes are a little off. But Donald is soooo adorable!

ºoº Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty mugs. I really love this series of mugs, such a great idea.

ºoº New vinyls!!! I absolutely adore the classic series. And holy Hera, I got Oswald!!!! My first chaser!! And I got Pete, isn't he precious? The Fantasia series is pretty fantastic. This has really been a good Fantasia year for me.

ºoº Monstro snowgobe! This is such an epic globe. I missed out on it the first time they had it, but thankfully they added it back, and I got on sale too! Now I've got something to go on the shelf with my Maleficent and Hercules fighting the Hydra globes.

DS order #3:

ºoº Finally got myself these lovely ladies. With the sales they were only $3.74 each.

ºoº Animation studios snowglobe!!!! Been drooling over this one for a while, but it was a D23 thing. So I went ahead and got myself a membership (forgot to put it in the picture... oops). Plus this one was on sale, so I got it for half price!

ºoº Bambi and Lady and the Tramp mugs. I can not tell you how much I love that Bambi mug, it's so gorgeous! Oh Disney, the reason why this person who never uses mugs has more than she has room for.

ºoº OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG!!!!!! How amazing are these!!!! Rite of Spring was always one of my favourite segments from Fantasia, and it never. ever. ever. gets any love. Evey Fantasia thing I've seen (such as the mug from the same series as these) has had all the other segments represented except Rite of Spring and Toccatta and Fuge. I can see not including Toccatta, because it wouldn't fit well. But Rite! Rite could easily be worked it. It's such a wonderful pieces, and the animation and effects were brilliant! Have you seen how they did the volcanoes? Genius!! Anyway, rant aside... these are obviously the ones I wanted more than any other. I haven't even seen how the rest of the series goes, but I know nothing could tops these guys. Absolutely perfect!

cabin pressure, disney: sleeping beauty, disney: cinderella, it's just my collection, disney: bambi, disney: mickey and friends, disney: jungle book, disney: mulan, vinylmation, disney: fantasia, disney: pinocchio, john finnemore, disney: lady and the tramp
