Collection Update 12-35
Another massive collection post, because I've been so lazy about posting them... Believe it or not, there's actually some non-Disney stuff here too.
Hallmark (and one Enesco) ornaments I got some months back.
ºoº Been wanting the Hercules ones for years. Not too keen on the Hercules ornament itself, they could have done that pose without hiding his face so much. The Meg and Pegasus one is perfect though!
ºoº Finally got the Donald train to complete the set!
ºoº Donald wrapping the gift is too precious! I know how you feel...
ºoº Donald and Daisy ornament is just gorgeous, couldn't pass it up!
ºoº Absolutely gorgeous Pocahontas doll, also got months ago. Not only did I get her for a really decent price, the seller paid for half of the shipping!
ºoº Managed to get a few A:TLE figures to finish off my Atlantis display (sadly no room for Rourke atm...)
My recent Disney Store orders. First up, Balck Friday:
ºoº Mickey and Minnie holiday figure. I absolutely love the Victorian collection, and couldn't pass up this piece. So beautiful, and detailed! The little Mickey heads on Mickey's coat and Minnie's skirt have a scroll work pattern with another Mickey head in the centre!
ºoº Mayor and Jack ornaments from the parks. So glad I only paid half price for these. They are gorgeous, but so much smaller than I thought they'd be. Jack's legs are no bigger than a toothpick!!! I feel I could break him just by looking at him!
ºoº Mouse Ear Hat bank. On the back is says "I'm going to the Disneyland Resort!" And that's exactly what it's saving for. It's already got at least $30 in it... long way to go yet.
ºoº Classic vinyls!!!! As soon as I heard about this series I knew I had to get all of them. Holy Clarabelle Cow!!! This series has the great characters you never see, or even hear of, anymore. Such as Gideon Goat and Percy Pig. And it's not Goofy, it's Dippy Dawg!!! Pluto and Clarabelle have adorable little tails. Was kind of bummed that I got 2 Plutos, but I have already traded one with a friend on tumblr. Hasn't arrived yet, so hopefully soon after Christmas I will have Phil from the Animation 2 series.
And now, the biggest haul ever!! Cyber Monday was soooo good to me (not necessarily so for my wallet...). All of this at regular price amounts to about $407, and with the sales and discounts I only paid $160!!!!
ºoº Halloween 2012 ear hat. Halloween, Haunted Mansion elements, Jack Skellington moon... need I say more? Plus it was only $4!
ºoº Cowboy Mickey was a must. I wouldn't mind getting the other MMC days in the series, but they are quite large. But this one is just so adorable.
ºoº White 7" light up vinyl. Regular $25, got it for $7.
ºoº John Carter Vinyls. These are amazing! Tars Tarkas and the White Ape have 4 arms!!! I was so shocked that they actually made something of John Carter, such a shame the movie didn't do well. I'm still missing Dejah, but they didn't have her. Maybe someday... And the bonus is that these were regular $15 and I got them for $3.74!
ºoº NBC vinyl set. Holy Christmas you guys!!! This set has a 9" Behemoth, 3" Easter bunny, and 1 1/2" Nutcracker. Regular $80, I got it for $22!!!!
ºoº Tinker Bell tree topper, Share the Magic ornament set, and Worlds of Disney ornament set. These were all $25, but I paid $11 each. Tink is so cute, her wings light up and change colour! The Share the Magic set is just adorable, the images are in the same style as the clip art on the box. And I absolutely adore the Worlds of Disney set. Aristocats, Lady and the Tramp, Bambi, Dumbo, Jungle Book, Pinocchio, and Alice in Wonderland. There's little clip arts of various characters and retro movie posters in the background.
ºoº Thumper Easter ear hat ornament. This is just to cute for words! I love almost all of the ear hat ornament they made, but there were quite a lot of them (at least 30 different ones)... and they were all $22 each! Way to much to collect them all. But I'm glad I got this one, and at half price too! I may try and get a few of the others some day...
ºoº And finally the sketchbook ornaments. I caved this year and went ahead and got all the princess ornaments (Pocahontas is missing because I got her earlier). Thankfully they were all half price. Poor Cinderella though... her ribbon is really short for some reason, and because of the way they were packed her hook got pulled right out of her head! Got it glued in there now, though. Chip and Dale are so cute! Got Jiminy to help fill in my Pinocchio shelf. Timothy, he's perfect! Sadly I missed out on this years Dumbo... I stopped in our outlet store last weekend to pick up Brave (and actually made it out of there without buying anything!) and all the ornaments are gone already :(.

ºoº Red and Green light up vinyls. Very Christmasy!
ºoº Tiana ear hat ornament. It's so gorgeous! And I managed to get it for even cheaper than the Thumper one!
ºoº Mascot Mickey vinyl. While they are cute, I really don't care much for the series. Not a big fan of the colouring. This one I got because I wanted the hat for a custom I'm planning on doing... if I ever find the time... And it was only $3.
ºoº Fantasia set, the main reasom I placed this order. I missed the first in the series, because it was only sold at the parks, not online. Which is so unfair... unless you got to the parks the only way to get it is know someone who'll pick it up for you, or ebay, where it'll sell for 4 times the price (which it is doing, I checked). Maybe if it's still available I can find someone to get it for me. Aparently there are 8 sets in total, one released every month. Looks like each set is based on a music segment. The first was Sorcerer's Apprentice, this one's Pastoral Symphony. I've seen pictures of the Nutcracker set (which I'm fairly certain is the one coming out this month... would make sense, anyway) and the Rite of Spring set, which I have to have! Stravinsky, dinosaurs... always been one of my favourite segments, and (along with Toccata and Fuge) it never gets any love. I've got a mug and a snowglobe which both show every segment... except those 2. Toccata I can see why, but Rite of Spring would be so easy to include!!!
ºoº 3 more classics vinyls... and I got the chaser!!!! My first ever chaser, and it's Oswald!!! And I also got Pete!!!! Talk about a lucky set of boxes!

ºoº CABIN PRESSURE CDS!!!!!! Finally found someone selling all 3 series. The booklets are hilarious! I'll have to post them one of these days...
ºoº Also, the Otter vinyl from the Park 11. I traded for this one, and (perfect timing) it came the same day as the Cabin Pressure cds... but it will definitely be staying out of the flight deck ;)
ºoº And Sherlock goodies! Got the calendar from the same seller as the Cabin Pressure cds. And the Casebook I got from amazon... it's brilliant! Very well done, and I just love the little notes by Sherlock and John.
