Collection Update 12-34
Vinylmation insanity!!! Yup, I've been bitten pretty hard by that bug. Due to my extreme laziness, some of these should have been posted months ago. Oh well.
Found a number of goodies on ebay. Some to work towards completing sets, and other that are just really cool:
ºoº Sea Creatures that I had been lacking: Brain Coral (looks so neat in person), Hawksbill Sea Turtle (cute beyond cute, don't know why I didn't get this one sooner), Bottlenose Dolphin (so long and thanks for all the fish).
ºoº And Gideon and Si/Am (Am is on the back) to work on the Villains 3 series.
ºoº Zero! A nice little addition to my NBC shelf.
ºoº Duffy!!! Finally got my hands on something of Duffy (seeing as Disney Store won't ship his stuff outside the US). He's super adorable, from his Mickey face and pads, to the little Mickey mark on his rump, right beside his cute little tail. And he's flocked, so he's very teddy bearish :)
ºoº Baby Simba... no words can describe the cute...
ºoº And my start on the AIW series.
ºoº Magic Kingdom Mickey topper figure from the Park 7 series. He was only 97¢!!
ºoº Baby Seal and Turtle from the Have A Laugh series, too cute.
ºoº Dodo from AIW.
ºoº Mufasa!!! Too bad TLK vinyls are going for so much money... wish I'd gotten into vinyls when they first came out. Oh well, we'll see how this goes...
ºoº Prisoner at the Well and Muddy Pig from the POTC series. I love this series, because it's based on the ride, not the movies. Absolutely fell in love with the pig, he's buckets of cute.
ºoº And finally the Cheetah and Leopard from the Animal Kingdom series. May or may not comeplete this series. There are a few more I'm definitely getting, but not sure on others. Had to get these 2 because, well... they're cats. And one's a Cheetah (which I loved so much when I was a kid I named my first cat Cheetah... even though he was brown and grey and looked nothing like a Cheetah). And the other is a Leopard, and they are just brilliant! I have seen the Black Panther for pretty cheap, but it's black with black spots (which makes it look like it's a solid colour) and green eyes. Basically it just looks like there are 2 green spots on the head.
ºoº Haunted Manion Stretching Portrait pins!!! Oh damn, are they ever perfect! Hoping to get the other 2 so I can frame them.
ºoº Animal Kingdom: Buffalo. Not a gorilla or a cat, but still awesome.
ºoº So Tasty series Mint Chip Ice Cream and Rootbeer. Oh my gods, does that ever smell like rootbeer!!!
ºoº Sea Creatures: Maine Lobster. Didn't even notice this one had claws until I got him out of the box. Is he not the most precious thing ever?
ºoº Norway Flag, in honour of a friend of mine way, way off in Norway.
Disney Store Orders
Disney Store online had a Vinylmation Madness sale, had to take advantage of it.
The 2 Cruise Line Captain Mickeys are actually for a custom idea I have. Sadly, there was a limit of 2 on this one, or I'd have gotten another so I could keep one normal. But I need those hats! Aquaduck Donald and Nerd Pluto were just too adorable to pass up. And I've had my eye on the red Theme Park Fan for a while, yay to get it on sale. And the AIW pack is just perfect! The King is so cute! All were reg. $12.95, but I paid $4. AIW was reg. $24.95, but I only paid $10.
Second Disney Store order. Vinylmation Madness was still going on, plus a 25% off sale. Yay for sales! All of these regular price would have come to $334.85, but I only paid $135.43!!!
ºoº Mmm, popcorn... Sadly doesn't really smell like much of anything, hopefully once it airs out a bit?
ºoº Jingle Smells Series 2. These are even more adorable than the first series!!! And these ones come with a ribbon attached so I can hang them on the tree. Same with the Holiday 2012 in the middle. It's so adorable. Can't see it in this picture too well, but it's Donald trapped in a snowglobe with Chip and Dale on the ears. And all the blue (representing the globe's glass) is transparent!
ºoº Storybook set, so cute! Donald has a backpack, with little vinyls showing in a pocket! This one was regular $26.95, but I paid $7.50.
ºoº Brave set. This one is too perfect! I was originally humming and hawing about getting it, but the price, and the fact that my Brave shelf is already bursting, was getting in the way. Couldn't pass this up though... originally $39.95, I only paid $11.25!
ºoº 7" Light-up vinyl. Reg. $24.95, paid $7.50. And it's purple!!!!
ºoº 8 Puerto Rico Flags. These were $3 each, so I got a bunch for customs. May or may not keep one as is.
Also got a few other things with the order above.
ºoº Singing doll were $15 each. I really wanted to get Belle before, but I missed her. Turned out well those, because I think she looks better in this version. Ariel on the other hand... I don't care much for the pink dress, and she would be better as a mermaid anyway given the song she sings, but she's still a beautiful doll. And Jasmine, I already had her from last years design. But I really love her new design... and this time it's actually Lea Salonga singing!!!

ºoº And finally and Ariel blanket. Was $19.95, but I only paid $9. It's so soft!
I've got a few more vinyls on the way from Black Friday, plus one big, massive order from Cyber Monday... yay sales! Although it's been almost a week and neither of them have shipped out yet. I'm getting a little worried they may run out of some things before they get to my order. That's happened before...
