How to Piss Me Off Real Fast
Always wanted to do a gif post, what better excuse than one of my biggest pet peeves?
So I'm sitting in the crew room enjoying my favourite pastime.
Fully immersed in the rainforest of Parc National des Virunga, when a coworker comes in and goes yammering on about who knows what until he realizes I'm ignoring him.
So he pauses for a second, then says "you like to read, don't you?"
"I guess that's why you come in 45 minutes early, so you can read before you start."
"I don't like to read myself..."
Really, I couldn't tell. I thought you were just and asshole who doesn't care that the rudest thing ever is talking to someone when they're reading. Cause if you actully did read you'd know that. But don't stop there, tell me more!
"I mean, everyone tells me that books are better... but I'd rather watch the movie. blah blah blah blah banana blah blaah blah... ... ... "
Shut up already! You're wasting my time and ruining my book. Get thee gone!
So he finally leaves and I still have a good 20 minutes left... then I hear voices approaching.
And sure enough 2 more coworkers come into the room and start a long conversation, when they're supposed to be out on the floor working.
From now on I'm leaving my ipod on the table and I'm going to put It's A Small World on full blast if they open their mouth. I've also been thinking about printing out book jackets with that Anita picture on it... but I'm pretty sure most of the people I work with can't read, so it'll do no good.
