Bye-bye 2010
Well, that's another 12 months come and gone. Time for an end of year meme.
1. What did you do in 2010 that you’d never done before?
Put up a fence, pledged money for a charity run, used a fire hose, pet a bat, fed bats grapes by hand, pet a hippo, fed a giraffe a carrot from my mouth, fed peanuts to colobus monkeys, gave a gorilla a vitamin and drink, bottle fed a baby gorilla.
2. Did you keep your New Years’ resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Don't think I made any. Will probably come up with some over the next few days, haven't really thought about it yet. (Not like I'll keep them, anyway)
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Nope.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
Jarrett. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to know him well, we were just starting to be friends. He was taken from us far to soon.
5. What countries did you visit?
Russia, Ireland, France, New Zealand... oh wait, you mean in real life. Sadly the only travelling I did this year was in my books.
6. What would you like to have in 2011 that you lacked in 2010?
Time and ambition.
7. What date(s) from 2010 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
May 1 - Got to hang out with flamingoes, turtles, monkeys, lions, hippos, giraffes, bats, and gorillas all day. 'nuf said.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Almost finishing something that should have been done a year ago. Should be done in a few days, providing there's no major disaster (crosses fingers!)
9. What was your biggest failure?
Not finishing anythi
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Lost my voice, that's about it.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
My young Tarzan throw. No!, the Greman Broadway cd. No!, the Finnish soundtrack! NO!!!!, the Tarzan sericel singed by Tony Goldwyn!!!!!! (Plus every other addition I made :D )
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Everyone, free virtual cookies for all, yay!!!!
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Ummmm, none that I can think of...
14. Where did most of your money go?
Tarzan and other Disney stuff, naturally. Plus the tickets for the convention next year.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
All sorts of Tarzan related things, Disney concert put on by the CPO, 30 Seconds to Mars (finally, after 4 years!), working at the zoo.
16. What song(s) will always remind you of 2010?
Can't think of any right now. Maybe It's A Small World.
17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. Happier or sadder?
Happier I think.
ii. Thinner or fatter?
Fatter most likely
iii. richer or poorer?
Poorer, most definately.
18. What do you wish you’d done more of?
Drawing, reading

Goofing around on the computer, watching tv, all around slacking off.
20. What was your favorite TV program?
Supernatural, naturally :)
21. Do you hate anyone now that you didn’t hate this time last year?
Ummm, not really.
22. What was the best book you read?
How am I supposed to pick just one? In a year that has included the likes of The Ghost Writer, The Rebels of Ireland, The Princes of Ireland, New York, King Rat, Noble House, Whirlwind, A Tale of Two Cities, and Les Miserables, to name a few. How do you narrow that down to one?
23. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Tron Legacy score I guess, the rest was actually rediscovery of good stuff I hadn't heard forever.
24. What did you want and get?
To much to list. But I will go with the little Terk clock that rachel helped me get (you are so awesome!!)
25. What was your favorite film of this year?
Tie: Princess and the Frog (I didn't get to see it til January 1), but technically Tron Legacy. Both were very much worth the years of waiting. Waking Sleeping Beauty was pretty awesome, as well.
26. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I was stuck at work, and it more than sucked out loud. But then I got to go home and watch the season finale of Supernatural, which was awesome! I turned a quater of.
27. What kept you sane?
Tarzan. Mostly music, but mostly Tarzan. And good friends.

Everyone I didn't get to see.

Can't think of any new person I met.
