Artastic: Sanithna Phansavanh
Since a lot of you liked the little art post I did the other day, I figured maybe I'll keep sharing some things of artists I find and love. I also keep meaning to do this for myself because I am terrible at remembering this sort of thing and this would be a good way to catalogue it for my own reference in the future. Without further ado...
Meet Sanithna Phansavanh. I met Sanithna on MySpace a few years ago. I have no idea how I came across him, but I love him -- and he has been such a sweetheart in all of my dealings with him. He sent me a free print because he was getting so much traffic from my MySpace at one point (I was using one of his works as my background and, of course, had linked over to give credit where it was due), and then, when my friend starfyer bought me the same print I had requested, he was astute enough to connect the dots and arrange for a substitute print to be sent. That just struck me as So Nice -- both to offer the print in the first place, and to make the effort to make sure I didn't have two copies of the same print.

I admit to having a penchant for his women -- he does lots of other things as well, and you can check them out on his Web site, but this really does strike me as his forte. I know he has a small child (who is adorable), but I hope he updates with things he's working on soon. This has been his selection for most of the time I've known him, with only one or two additions. I want more!
