Thursday

Jess and I trekked over to Greg and Mikey's, where we had a relaxing evening of cards and such. Nothing special, really. I don't know why I even included Thursday in the recap.

Friday

I didn't do much but clean until 6:30ish when Ryan got here. After a delicious TBell dinner, we just played Dr. Mario with the neighbors and watched GUTS...which is a pretty typical Friday night around here. Chill day again, but great. Caught up on some much-needed sleep, considering how my pattern's been lately.

Saturday

Ryan and I drove around for a good portion of the day taking pictures for his photography assignment. The weather was beautiful, so it made exploring outside of the car both easy and enjoyable. We started off just trying to find some cool houses, which is one of my favorite driving activites, and found this amazing castle-ish one with a windmill and a great porch and all sorts of amazing features. Then we drove I don't even know where, but ended up wandering around on some train tracks for awhile. Didn't get any pictures...but the day was definitely fun anyways. Later we went bowling with Sean, then played Dr. Mario and watched GUTS again, and pretty much had another super-chill night with the neighbors. Jackie randomly decided to cut my hair at 1:30 am, so now it's short and fun. So...yay for haircuts!

Sunday

Ryan and I set out yet again to actually take some pictures. We decided the lakeshore area would suffice, and wandered around in the woods over there for about an hour. He got some cool ones of waterfalls that were caused by melting snow, and some others that I'm sure will look awesome. The weather was beautiful yet again...it was so weird to be wearing flip-flops (which I still maintain was a great idea), walking in snow, and not being cold. When we got back here, we joined the grill-out at the neighbors, and just relaxed until about 5 when Rye left.

Sunday progressed into one of the most random drinking nights we've ever had, which I'm pretty sure was entirely due to the amazing weather. Incense was lit, amazing music like the Notwist and Led Zeppelin was played, it was just the perfect content ending to the weekend. We stayed outside the entire night, or at least until about 9:00 when the cops showed up, ruining all contentness that existed. Apparently one of our amazing College Court neighbors called in a noise complaint, which is stupid considering that when the cops showed up we were playing the Shins. THE SHINS. Ugggh, people suck.

Anyways, Fay and Maggie both got tickets, and Maggie's was the most ridiculous because she was upstairs STUDYING the entire time. So we're all going to pitch in and help them out. I'm pretty upset about the situation as a whole, but there really was nothing any of us could do. Serves us right for enjoying beautiful weather.

So, in short, the weekend was perfect minus the little incident at the end. Haha, way to go cops for ruining everything.
