if i'd known at 7:30 this morning, after four hours of sleep, that i wasn't going to have time to nap at all today, i might not have gotten up.
meals, shopping, gardening, hangouts... by 9 this evening i'd started to fade, and i was faced with having to decide whether i was going to go out. i figured if i stayed home, i might feel as though i was missing out and not get any rest anyway, so off i went, to meet matt at the harbourfront centre.
three hours, four new friends, two AWESOME bands, an invitation to a barbecue, several beers, and a lot of walking later, and i'm very glad that i went! i even ran into
danger_aardvark and
mister_p, who were finishing up with flight of fancy.
mentalmakeup commented that long days like this always make it seem like two days in one, and indeed breakfast this morning already feels like last wednesday.
fun for sure, but twenty hours later, i'm very happy to see my bed.
