a friend recently described to me the feeling of discovering a song that encompases everything you feel and everything you've been trying to say. that "click" of perfection.
it was exactly that feeling i experienced this morning when i discovered (somewhat late in the game) beirut... a perfect mix of happiness and longing and summer.
